Greetings from the Design Annex of Limulus Systems

I’ve been given temporary authorship of this blog to provide a brief introduction.

First, some background: I’ve been pushing pixels around a long time – creating everything from publication designs to marketing, advertising, multimedia, and environmental collateral. The content was created for print and Web, whichever was the most effective medium. I’m also an illustrator, so I can Draw The Pirate which you see on those matchbooks. I started out putting together newspapers using a waxer, reduction wheel, and a green screen to code type, which was output on long reams of cannistered  film. [The processor inevitably jammed, forcing you to plunge your arms elbow-deep into a life-shortening chemical soup to salvage your type galleys. I digress.]

I’m looking forward to working with my Limulus Partners to craft some impressive branding, interface designs, web sites, and marketing campaigns – and to then do the hands-on design work to bring it all to life. Feel free to drop me a line at [email protected] if you’d like to talk pixels [Or better yet, picas]. You can also hunt me down and haunt me on the usual social media sites: Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Behance. – Tom Norton
